Office 2010 includes applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. They’re available as a one-time purchase for use on a single PC.Microsoft 365 plans include premium versions of these applications plus other services that are enabled over the Internet, including online storage with OneDrive and Skype minutes for home use. With Microsoft 365 you get the full, installed Office experience on PCs, Macs, tablets (including iPad® and Android™ tablet) and phones. Microsoft 365 plans are available as a monthly or annual subscription. You don’t need to be connected to the Internet to use Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, because the applications are fully installed on your computer. However, Internet access is required to install and activate all the latest releases of Office suites and all Microsoft 365 subscription plans.
For Microsoft 365 plans, Internet access is also needed to manage your subscription account, for example to install Office on other PCs or to change billing options. Internet access is also required to access documents stored on OneDrive, unless you install the OneDrive desktop app.You should also connect to the Internet regularly to keep your version of Office up to date and benefit from automatic upgrades. If you don’t connect to the Internet at least every 31 days, your applications will go into reduced functionality mode, which means that you can view or print your documents but cannot edit the documents or create new ones. To reactivate your Office applications, reconnect to the Internet.
Documents that you have created belong fully to you. You can choose to store them online on OneDrive or locally on your PC or Mac.If you cancel your subscription or it expires, you can still access and download all your files by signing into OneDrive directly using the Microsoft account you used to set up Microsoft 365. You do lose the additional storage that comes with your subscription, so you must save your files elsewhere or buy more OneDrive storage if your OneDrive account exceeds the free storage quota.
If you have an active Microsoft 365 Family subscription, you can share it with up to five members of your household (six total). Each household member you share your subscription with can use any of your available installs on their PCs, Macs, iPads, Android tablets, Windows tablets, iPhones® or Android phones, get an additional 1 TB of OneDrive storage, and manage their own installs from.To add someone to your subscription, visit and follow the onscreen instructions to add a user.
Each person you add will receive an email with the steps they need to follow. Once they have accepted and completed the steps, their information, including the installs they are using, will appear on your My Account page. You can stop sharing your subscription with someone or remove a device they are using at. “The cloud” is a friendly way of describing web-based computing services that are hosted outside of your home or organization. When you use cloud-based services, your IT infrastructure resides off your property (off-premises), and is maintained by a third party (hosted), instead of residing on a server at your home or business (on-premises) that you maintain. With Microsoft 365, for example, information storage, computation, and software are located and managed remotely on servers owned by Microsoft.
Many services you use every day are a part of the cloud—everything from web-based email to mobile banking and online photo storage. Because this infrastructure is located online or “in the cloud,” you can access it virtually anywhere, from a PC, tablet, smartphone, or other device with an Internet connection.
The transition from Hotmail to Outlook hasn’t been without problems, in fact there’s been a few outages with users reporting Hotmail or Outlook has gone down throughout this year at different times. In most circumstances this will just be old issues not lasting very long, although some issues will be prolonged with Outlook login problems being the most highlighted. If you made the move from Hotmail to Outlook, then you might not be happy since the automatic switch and not having the ability to switch back to Hotmail again. In fact, we have seen a few people complain and think the service hasn’t improved since the changes to their inbox.Do you have problems with the Hotmail (Outlook) login on Thursday May 14, 2020? If there’s a global outage, or issues local to USA, UK, and other countries then they will be revealed within status updates below. Also, leave details about problems you have or if the email service is down today for you. When Microsoft offers official statements in regard to Outlook, or Hotmail, problems then you can be sure to find them below. Junk mail getting dumped into my inboxI checked my settings and there used to be a selection in the filters for “exclusive”Meaning only email addresses I have in my address book or selectively approved. This setting is no longer there maybe something hiccupped with the Hotmail system.I did alert Hotmail support about this he was also expecting that “exclusive” option. After I told him that was not there he stated he will escalate thisI hope it is fixed soon. I get 150 junk mails a dayI use Hotmail in the Edge browser.
Problems with login, errors, “can’t send msg right now. Try later” kinds of messages, or when I try to attach a photo, the photo won’t fully load, email gets stuck, and I have to start over and cross my fingers. I’ve had my account since Hotmail started, and I really don’t want to go somewhere else like gmail. I really like Hotmail, but this has been going on for three weeks and it’s becoming very frustrating.
Also, when I try to load my toolbar link, it no longer lets me do that, so I have to go directly to MSN every time, and enter the password–the system has just become so unnecessarily cumbersome. I am able to login with hotmail. The page loads, left menu and ads of course. The box the emails listed is blank with an icon saying LOADING.
I have cleared cahce and switched to NO PROXY with no luck. I have rebooted also. I checked my friends hotmail on the same computer and it works fully. I checked my hotmail on another computer and it works there. It is unique to this system but can’t find the trouble.any thoughts out there??? I have not made any hardware or software changes to this system.
The problem started about 48 hours ago. My account still logs in automatically, but since yesterday the message window has been displaying the message “Your message can’t be displayed right now. Please check your internet connection or try again later”. There is no problem with my internet connection.Ironically, to post this message here, I needed to sign up to Disqus and verify the email that was sent to my hotmail account. At least it is still working on my phone.
The only thing I can think to do is to send important emails to my gmail account to view them.I have always had this email address as my primary address, but over the last 3 or 4 years hotmail has been causing me problems with emails that never arrive to my account – not even to the junk folder. Sometimes these are very important emails, and worth considering a move to another email provider, and dropping Hotmail altogether.
Hello @@disqusrYWVn7Se7w live in Ohio in the USA. Ever since Thursday my Outlook email has had a message in Black at the bottom saying that, “Your outlook. Com (Outlook) account is disconnected.” this is on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. My computer is down so I can only access anything on my phone and on my tablet. It has an option next to the message saying it’s disconnected saying the word “fix.” I’ve gone through every freaking step multiple times trying to verify my own identity and it will not let me at all.
I get to the part where you have to have a code sent to an alternate email or through text or phone call. It has my number ending in 43 when it ends in 09. I don’t understand that at all. I have not changed my phone number. I need to be able to use my Outlook and Microsoft account because I use it for my DirecTV now streaming service and need it to be able to log in if it’s ever accidentally logs out. I’m not paying $35 a month for something I can’t access, the directvnow. And I can’t just create a new email address because I have my more important emails sent to my Outlook email instead of my Gmail email.
What is going on? It was already giving me trouble on Wednesday and forced me to have to reset my password which has always been the same for my computer and email for years and I know it is the right one. I made it so I can’t forget it. So I had to go to the irritating process of resetting my password and I reset it to the one that it already was. I had to try it over and over and over again just to get the new password to work and let me in. And then I find out on Friday when I try to look at my emails that my last email was Wednesday when I changed my password and I got that black message at the bottom of the screen saying it’s disconnected. I really rather talk to a person if possible.

I’m starting to get angry because all the troubleshooting I’ve tried needs me to log into Microsoft Outlook to be able to troubleshoot which I can’t do. I can’t log into it at all in the first place which is the problem. Getting very angry.

On teh top of them it says“Error: Themessage can’t be closed for the following reason: The message can’t besaved because it no longer exists. It can only be discarded. Make sureyou copy the contents of the message before you discard if you want touse them later.”needless to mention there is nothing to copy because it is the same content all the time. What is going on please? I literally have all my email corrupted!!!. Well I just they fix it and so. It scares me ot think that i might be able to access my hotmail account ever again.

It mentions my “organization’s email” and “OrgIdMailboxNotFoundException”. The service I am trying to get into is my personal outlook live and hotmail accounts. Is everyone else seeing the same references to an organization or OrgId (I am assuming this means organization ID)?2. It has a date of April 2 when it is still April 1.Has anyone tried to change their password and see if that helps?Could my email have been hijacked and is now associated to a nefarious organization of some sort?🙁Something went wrongYou’re currently signed in as.@outlook.com. I’m having problems, too, when signing into my email. And I point my finger at the whole tech community. They don’t understand the phrase “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” If the changes need to be made for security reasons, fine, that is clearly needed. But they don’t need to “improve” the user interface, or the features, they were fine as they were. But tech workers are hardwired to bel wove that things always need to change.
And now, with their attempts to create an “improved” user experience (that users generally don’t want), they are creating a lot of problems instead. Not only is Hotmail unavailable on laptop (keeps asking for all kinds of info & refers to an old email address that i used to use several years ago).
I say I don’t have it any more. Also says I can keep using email while new contact is updated which will take 30 days, yet Hotmail won’t open. Stuck in a loop. However, works fine on phone. Additionally, more than one attempt to research this problem has resulted in Google switching to Russian language & sites have re-directed to Russian porn sites. This a bigger problem going on.
All important correspondence will be using land lines & United States Postal service. At least that correspondence is protected from wire taps & illegal search & seizure that way. No underlying terms & conditions to interfere. Been healthcare won’t accept computer records.
Must be faxed. (Land lines are secure).
Just saying.time to only use internet as a toy. IPS keep playing games.
Pretty obvious to us blind lab rats. Is MICROSOFT monitoring all of these issues we are having across the whole world? Are they all asleep???Does anyone know what is really going on at MICROSOFT?Why don’t they issue a general across MESSAGE across the whole wide world about the problems they are having, and what we have to put up with. Are you listeningMICROSOFT? Are you reading all about the problems listed here???Pleaseget a grip, and let us know exactly what the problem is with windows 10and OUTLOOK MAILNever like this on Windows 8.
UKI’ve never had this problem with hotmail/outlook on Chrome before and have been running Chrome on windows ever since Microsoft stopped support of IE on my previous WinXP PC (and I’ll never go back to using their browser as a matter of ‘pay-back’ principle). This particular problem has arisen on my beloved Chromebook as, unfortunately, I can’t access my usual desktop PC, at the moment, to see if that has the same problem. Any help would be appreciated as this has been going on for a few days.
It’s all about control. Biggest companies most propbalby have agreements with Goverments to spy. I’m changing as I’m sick of Bill Gates and Microsoft making changes without notification, they screwed everything up when they took away @live.com email without notice, I couldn’t get access to my email, important email too, grrrr.
For safe secure and reliable email I just checked out these, I know where I’m going for my email provider from now on. It’s just a pain changing all my subscriptions and account emails with other websites and services. Every since Hotmail became Outlook, it has not been the same! When you click to open an email, a separate pop-up box comes up, and you have to click the “x” on that pop-up to get rid of. It never used to be that way! Even hovering over an email, it would go and open it without even selecting or clicking on it!

Not going to call some hot-line number to only get someone from India or the Philippines, not wasting my time on the language barrier here! Sick and tired of not getting an American speaking customer service rep either whenever you call for help!. Hi, All OK in the UK, until I returned to France yesterday. Accessing Outlook via my laptop with Windows is now proving impossible. All avenues to access my account via login.live.com fails with the message “This site can’t be reached”. I have no problem accessing it via my Apple devices.
My husband has been having the same problem all week, likewise a neighbour. We all use Nordnet satellite as our ISP. Does the problem relate to Windows, to Outlook Live or to our ISP and their filters (I saw this was the issue on a historic issue like this)?.
I have Outlook email with three connected Virgin Media accounts. Have had no emails for four days. Outlook email is asking for the password to be input and saved for these three connected accounts. All good except two of the three of them won’t save. Clicking on the ‘Save’ button does nothing.
I have deleted browsing history, passwords – everything that can be deleted has been deleted, but still no luck with two of the three accounts. I have no idea whether this is a Microsoft problem or a Virgin Media issue. Totally having issues here in the US (east coast. Northeast) my 2 accounts just popped up on my iPhone saying enter the password and I tried from my laptop and tablet and it’s saying the same as the last outage. This account does not exist. So I won’t freak out since this seems to be a monthly occurance now, and in fact. I primarily use gmail but I do have 2 old Hotmail accounts that sometimes I get some emails to that I want. I’m going to fwd my messages to my gmail and be done with this.
Cause it’s crap absolutely annoying as hell. And just not reliable.
