Apr 30, 2014 Bugs aside, Lost Alpha is epic! There really is no other word for it. While game journos were looking for the 'Citizen Kane of video games', dezowave created the 'Lawrence Of Arabia of video games'. I read that GSC don't want to release Lost Alpha because of a leak. They're seriously cheating themselves out of money.

.Here is problem: All.dll's required by the game (including the MSCVP and MSCVR120.dll's) are in the game folder with the XR3DA.exe launcher. Along with all the other game files.
Yet, it fails to launch, the error log citing that the game cannot find these.dll's. See the log below for more info on that. The usual fix for this in Stalker the other stalker games, was to move these files from the /bin folder to the main folder. However, even after placing a copy of all the dlls in both main data folder and /bin folder the game still refuses to launch and find the.dll's. The two files I put in the Windows/System32 folder are as follows.Your msvcp120.dll should be 455kb, the msvcr120.dll should be 971kb. Without those you will get the above message.and just as a correction the file that was causing the error for Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat is actually fsgame.ltx, not user.ltx like I said previously. Shadow of Chernobyl was never affected with that issue and neither is Lost Alpha. I've done a bit more testing, the first couple of tasks and I was just a bout to clear the Factory with Wolf's men.but took one bullet and it was over.and I forgot to save! Hahaha.but seriously this game kicks SoC's ass so far and I'm barely through the first firefight. Highly suggested if you are a fan of SoC.Contents Overview.
