Skyrim:Is there any way to get dawnguard for 360 without your xbox being internet-compatible?My Xbox is currently unable to connect to the internet, and i was wondering if i could buy dawnguard on the PC and then transport it onto my xbox. If that way doesn't work, then i am able to do just about any way, although i do not really want to get it for free from some download site and have to hack my Xbox.Plz help.
No, there isn't, (until and unless a 'Game of the Year' edition is released). One could take the XBox to a friendly person's place who does have internet access and hook it up there for the download. Be sure you are logged in to your XBox live profile, not the other person's. A 'Silver' account will do, just remember the password in case you ever get a new console.
We have lousy internet access and have had to route our XBox through our PC, (using an ethernet cable), which is connected to the internet via a cell phone Aircard. It seems stupid, but even though Windows and the XBox are both made by Microsoft, an XBox is NOT 'Plug-and-Play'. Your friendly neighborhood computer nerd may be needed here, to set up the 'bridges' that may be required.

We are in a small neighborhood, i am the comp nerd:P Anyways thanks to both of you, and i would also like to know if i could instead just birng the memory card to a friends house instead of the entire Xbox.gemgamer. We don't know if one can get Dawnguard on a Microsoft XBox memory chip. They only hold about half a gig. One can use a USB thumb drive, (or a SD card via a USB card reader), that has more memory, but we don't know if XBox Live will allow the file to be saved to anything but the hard drive. 17:40, July 26, 2012 (UTC).
p.s. If your friend has one of the new Slim consoles, the old XBox chips won't plug in to it, (we know because we have 2 XBoxes, one of each, to play system link). Also, a regular USB thumb drive will work, just plug it in to your console and format it.
