That's a workaround, but then in my focus view the flagged ones would look more important than the due ones, and the deferred ones wouldn't show up at all. My current way of doing it is having a 'priority projects' perspective that shows me only projects I've selected to be there. I go through all the tasks there each morning and flag ones I want to do. Then I switch to a view that shows me only the flagged items. But I don't have any way of visually seeing which are most important in the focus view.

That should satisfy your Android requirement too. Otherwise, remote access to a Mac you own works pretty well. I'm typing this from a Windows PC that has an open VNC connection to my Macbook. I can copy and paste between OS X and Windows easily, it's a pretty usable solution. If a physical Mac isn't an option for you, you can look into running a virtual instance of OS X on your Windows computer. Plenty of resources on that available with a Google search.

That's a bit of a stretch. While I would hope for a web based interface as well I doubt they will make one. They're spread thin between products as is, and I'm not sure how they would justify developing a web interface. When I used Android I 'solved' it by running a script which created a text file with my most important contexts in dropbox. Re-reading my post, I can definitely see how I made it sound like they're definitely making a web interface. I'm gonna backtrack on that, wasn't my original intent. It sounds like they're hearing requests for cross-platform support, but based on my request for a Windows version being added to a Web-based interface request, it at least sounds like they've added a Web interface to their backlog and have rejected a native Windows app.
Web-based makes sense. Every one of their competitors has some degree of cross platform support. They'll have to expand their offerings if they want to compete, especially in enterprise. I guess I would be surprised if they weren't talking about switching to a subscription model and developing a web-based product. It's the way all software services are going, and they would make more money overall. They would lock in revenue, avoid dealing with angry customers at times of major upgrade, gain users from services like Todoist and Nirvana who aren't considering OF only because of PC compatibility. And they would no longer lose loyal users (as they did me for years) because of lack of even basic PC access to the software.

It is even more powerful than OF, but might be a little ugly and overwhelming in the beginning. I've grown to absolutely love it.
I can't recommend this app enough. It's extremely customizable and as complex/comprehensive as a GTD app might be able to get. It works on Windows, Android, iOS and WatchOS. I also use it on Linux with Wine, which works flawlessly. For my Mac I have a virtual machine just for MLO. It's kind of an underdog, but development seems rapid, as they have regular feature updates for all platforms.
